Harvest Potluck
Dear American Section community,
Welcome back after what I hope was a splendid Toussaint holiday! Much has taken place in the American Section since the start of November, beginning with the Annual Harvest Potluck Dinner held last Friday night in the company of some 190 parents, faculty and staff. Many, many thanks to Michelle Royer and Barbara Wagner for their extraordinarily efficient and welcoming organization, and for the third year in a row! Please be sure to underline in your diaries that our Annual General Meeting will be taking place next Tuesday, November 18, at 8:30 pm. We look forward very much to seeing you then.

Within the unique context of the Lycée International, where 12 national sections are represented, the American Section provides an American educational and cultural experience of exceptional quality.
The American Section prepares students to become lifelong learners and global citizens by:
- Fostering intellectual curiosity and self-confidence that help students realize their full potential; - Developing students’ leadership abilities and sense of responsibility towards others.
The American Section pursues this mission through a rigorous and rewarding American curriculum which culminates in the French Baccalaureate with International Option, as well as through a broad and enriching co-curricular program including such activities as drama, community service, sports and student publications.
